The Battlefield 1 beta had 13.2 million players, making it the biggest beta in EA history.
According to an infographic for the beta, the 13.2 million figure is more than double the strength of the British and Ottoman Empires deployed in the Middle East during World War I. Check out the full stats from the infographic below:

Assault was the most popular class deployed, used by 30 percent of players. Following close behind was the Scout class (28 percent), Support class (21 percent), and then Medic class (10 percent).
A few other notable stats include 28.9 million melee kills, 13 million kills scored by armored train, and 62.2 million kills while on horseback.
Along with the infographic, EA thanked fans for their feedback on the beta and said the company is “identifying what worked well, and what didn’t work as well,” specifically mentioning that “the Light Tank performed a little too well” and will be balanced for the game’s full release.
